Chocolate Vanilla Twist Oats

The hardest part of breakfast, for me, is to whether to go sweet or savory. If I choose sweet, the next question is chocolate or vanilla. This extremely difficult decision I face pretty often inspired me to come up with something revolutionary. Chocolate AND vanilla oatmeal.

Here’s what to do:

  • 1/2 c oats, cook on stove or microwave

  • Separate the cooked oats in half

  • Add 1 scoop of vegan vanilla protein powder + a splash of milk to one-half

  • Add 1 tbsp cacao powder + a splash of milk to the other half

  • Grab a bowl and add the vanilla and chocolate oats

  • I topped mine with berries, date syrup, and almond butter, but feel free to put whatever your heart desires
